This Khukuri is same with Official issue Khukuri for Jungle operation to the British Gurkha Army serving In Afganistan but with bigger size blade ,Which has Panawala type Handle  with Jungle finished(non polished) Blade. This khukuri (kukri) was an optional Weapon to the British Gurkha soldiers during Afganistan War. The handle of this kukri is other then extra and uniqe as the blade goes all the way through end of handle  (full tang) and has metal guard With grip to protect the fingure when used in war and Jungle.This type of handle is very easy and comfartable to caught and used. The notch (kaura or kaudi) in the blade near the hilt of most khukuris serves as conduit for the blood on the blade to drip out, thus preventing it from soiling the hilt as well as a device for catching and neutralizing and enemy blade. It is effort of 3 top range artist who spent more than one hour time to make it complete. The blade is sharp,Strong and comperatively heavey than regular Issued Khukuri that makes easier to controll while using. This is highly graded steel made Khukuri with finest crafrtmanship. The Khukuri is carried in a scabbard which is a wooden frame covered with white raw leather  to match the scabbard and uniforms of the troops and has protective metal cap over the tip. The scabbard has two pockets to hold the two tiny knives tucked behind it. Karda: A small knife, its main purpose is to cut small things and also work as a skinning knife. Chakmak: A sharpener, the main purpose of this Chakmak is to sharp the Khukuri (kukri) and maintain the sharp edge of the Khukuri (kukri). It can be used as a flint maker also. This Khukuri has best cutting power,well balance and highly crafted by Nepalese Black Smith who are called Kami (Khukuri Maker to the official forces in Nepal).
